WCH341 is a quite nice (and cheap) USB adapter (I got one by almost 3USD). Works perfect in Windows and Linux, but for mac it's another story…..
After lots of searches and drivers, I found this guy .
Note: Isn't a driver, it's a software that can connect using your cable, but don't worry, the software is very nice and works perfect.
Also, the developer is a nice guy and answer my mail quite fast when I had a problem with the last version. Thanks Aaron.
Unfortunately, no ANSI codes. That is important if you trying to configure Mikrotik.
ReplyDeleteMaybe the developer can help you, try to talk with him.
Deletehi, i am using the same terminal program. However, when connecting to Cisco console, and using sh run, it shows up till "--More". and then, goes back to Switch# prompt... any advise?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. I've used him with a cisco and works fine. Did you try to talk with the developer? Maybe it's something to be fixed.
DeleteThere is an official driver from vendor: http://www.wch.cn/downloads.php?name=pro&proid=5 So you don't need to use this app :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a windows driver, not OS X
DeleteRead the page dukzcry posted, there's a mac driver there.
DeleteNo one need this , when there is an official driver for os x here http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_ZIP.html Also Aaron is not a nice person, his software starts to reject to work and ask to mail him after some time of use on all our machines.
